Overseas Office

MTA has two overseas offices: Beijing, China and Ekaterinburg, Russia. We have close representatives in Brazil and India.  Ever since a Goldman-Sachs report in 2003 coined the term 'BRIC' economies and made the prediction that the total GDP of Brazil, Russia, India and China would be greater than the rest of the world put together by 2050, there's been no slowing the economies in these countries.  It's vitally important that the UK manufacturing technologies sector is strongly represented in these countries and to this end we've worked, with considerable UKTI support, to grow UK manufacturing technology trade in these regions.

China Office

The MTA Beijing office was set up in January 1995.  It has been providing marketing facilities and sales opportunities for its member companies who have targeted the China market.  The office provides charged services for members, which are based on individual requirements and objectives.

Russia Office

The MTA Ekaterinburg office was set up in February 2006.  An equivalent office to the Beijing operation, it will provide marketing facilities and sales opportunities for its member companies who have targeted the ever-growing Russia market.  The office provides charged services for members, which are based on individual requirements and objectives.
