Support Services

 

MTA Members can save up to 35% per year across a range of goods and services by joining the BSA Consortium.

The MTA's partnership with the BSA Consortium provides a purchasing support service that offers reduced price and improved service deals on stationery & office supplies, telecoms, gas & electricity, print, courier services, office furniture, janitorial, work-wear and catering/vending supplies that are usually only available to much larger businesses.

At the BSA Consortium, the focus is on using economies of scale and our knowledge of purchasing best practice to meet th epurchasing needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

    *The Price Promise: both stationery suppliers on the BSA Consortium will give the new BSA member client a "price match guarantee" in as much as: should the new member, within 30 days of starting to trade with the stationery supplier, find a product matching the exact quality specification of a product supplied on the “core list” at a lower unit price, the supplier will not only match the price but will offer a further 5% reduction on the price of the product in question.  Any claims for this consideration must be supported in writing with supporting documentary evidence and sent to the BSA Consortium in the first instance.

    BUSINESS SUPPORT HELPLINE

    MTA members have access to a Business Support Helpline run by a team of highly experienced, professional consultants, who can provide reliable and practical telephone advice from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), from 8am to 6pm.

    There is no charge to members for the advice given and no limit to the amount of use.

    Members may receive free telephone advice, information and guidance in respect of the following issues:

    > NICs  
    > Employment law  
    > Health and safety  
    > Commercial legal matters, including company law, landlord and tenant legislation, consumer protection, intellectual property issues and debt recovery.
