Education Business Partnerships are working relationships between engineering companies and local schools, which aim to: Cultivate long term links between industry and education Bring the world of engineering into the classroom and highlight the importance of manufacturing industry through activity based projects Inspire young people to take an interest in design & technology and create a greater awareness of the breadth of exciting opportunities in engineering for young people Provide support for teachers in the delivery of the Design & Technology National Curriculum Offer industrial partners opportunities for their continuing professional development. The MTA actively encourages this type of partnership through our Primary Schools Technology Challenge project.
