The MTA Annual Gala Dinner is a fantastic event where members have the opportunity to socialise and network with there peers and also presents a great opportunity to entertain customers and suppliers. The last dinner attracted almost 1000 guests who were entertained by Ian Hislop, acrobats and a fantastic classical/pop string group. Guests were also given a rousing speech and call to action from MTA President Geoff Lloyd - who during the course of the evening signed the Skills Pledge with David Lammy MP who was a special guest. In addition Alan Arnott of Perkins Engines gave an insight into why they continue to manufacture in the UK. A great evening all round. Next year will be even better so watch this space to find out when tickets are available.
