Citizen is the recognised world leader in CNC sliding head turn-milling machine technology.  Developed by Citizen Watch for the high productivity linked to precision machining of its watch components, the range of machines is capable of high accuracy production of components from sub 1 mm to 32 mm diameter.  Key to the success of Citizen is the flexibility of machine setting across the range linked to specialist software within the control system that makes prototype, small batch and continuous production in limited manning or totally unmanned situations viable.  Machines are available with up to 14 axes, able to carry up to 80 tools, of which 20 can be driven, and have the ability to produce components in a single cycle with up to three tools cutting simultaneously.
