MACH 2010 almost 50% sold with further ballot to go
Published : April 02, 2009
The MTA's MACH exhibition is almost 50% sold with the final ballot still to take place on 29 April. The first two ballots for stand space concentrated solely on MTA members who have taken close to 12,000 m2.
107 of the MTA's membership have taken space in the exhibition halls 4 and 5 at the NEC in Birmingham for MACH 2010, taking place from 7 -11 June 2010. One of those members is Ward CNC, who are taking their largest ever stand for MACH 2010 - a massive 500m2. Simon Whitworth from the company explains why:
"Companies that continually invest in the best equipment they can afford to enable them to produce high-quality parts at the right price are the ones with long-term aspirations - they always have been. That's why Ward CNC continually invests in its future, and in the future of our customers. Our commitment to next year's MACH is just one part of that. Besides, we'll need every inch of that expansive stand to adequately display a decent representation of the wide range of machines we offer!"
Ward CNC is amongst a number of companies that have actually increased their stand space for the 2010 show in anticipation of what could be the beginnings of an economic recovery when the show arrives in June.
The final ballot for stand space is open to all exhibitors, the closing date for entries into the ballot is Wed 15 April, after which date any remaining stand space will be available to all interested exhibitors.
