MTA Supply Chain Seminar at Messier Dowty
The MTA is pleased to announce the latest in our on-going series of supply chain seminars. Tier 1 Aerospace company Messier Dowty and the MTA are partnering to deliver an unmissable opportunity to visit their plant at Gloucester and hear direct from them what they need as they look to bring more of their supply chain work into the UK market.
The event will be held on Tuesday September 18 and is sure to be heavily subscribed.
At Gloucester Messier Dowty has a total capability from concept to in-service support including design, development, test, production, processing (heat treatment, surface finishing, etc.) assembly, commercial and product support.
Gloucester is a Centre of Excellence in landing gear development. It includes extensive test capability for strength, fatigue, drop endurance, environmental testing and system integration. Production activities focus on critical components including complex major structures such as large main fittings and bogies/truck beams for large commercial aircraft, plus main fittings and the larger components for military and commuter aircraft.
The company is keen to add to its roster of UK suppliers and the event held with the MTA is a vital part of its strategy to grow its footprint in the UK’s engineering based manufacturing sector.
