Tuesday 8th December 2020 saw members of the Manufacturing Technologies Association meet online for our first ever virtual AGM. As part of this meeting, we also welcomed our new President Andy Hodgson, Strategic Lead: Digitalisation at Siemens.

The Manufacturing Technologies Association’s (MTA) flagship Technology, Design and Innovation (TDI) Challenge competition for young secondary school entrepreneurial STEM students went ahead utilising the latest digital technologies.

A new report, published by the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), has found that, if the UK moves towards Green manufacturing, we could see between £8 - 20 Billion added to the UK’s GDP and 400,000 to 1 million jobs created.

MACH

MACH, a biennial exhibition of manufacturing technologies, is the UK’s largest industrial trade event attracting 25,000 visitors. It is wholly owned and operated by the MTA.
