Over one hundred delegates have already registered for the Seminar that will include a presentation by Gareth Williams, VP – Research & Technology, Business Development and Partnerships at Airbus. So book your place before the event fills up. Full details and a link to the downloadable booking form are contained in this week’s Friday Brief and on the MTA website.

Also approaching capacity is the MTA Annual Dinner kindly supported by Lloyds TSB Commercial. There are only a few tables left for what promises to be a terrific evening with Sky News’s Charlotte Hawkins confirmed as host. ECONOMIC DATA THIS WEEK

ECONOMIC DATA THIS WEEK

UK Gross Domestic Product, Q4  2012:  The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has today published figures showing that the UK economy contracted by 0.3% in the Fourth Quarter of 2012. The disappointing figure comes on the back of a strong performance in the Third Quarter which included an Olympics boost. Production industries which include manufacturing were the biggest contribution to this fall; much of which was driven by a very poor quarter for North Sea oil and gas. We will have further details on the Fourth Quarter figures next week.
