Welcome to the Friday Brief for week-ending 10 January.
This is the first Friday Brief of 2014 and the staff of the MTA wish all our members a successful New Year. Also, the MTA wishes to extend a special welcome to all the 38 new members who joined the Association during the past year.
Coming up fast is the MTA’s Annual Dinner on 6th February at the ICC – Birmingham. A truly memorable evening is on the cards including a splendid dinner, fine wines and outstanding entertainment. One of the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the MTA’s Manufacturing Industry Awards and we have a news item in this week’s Friday Brief giving the shortlisted entries for the Awards categories. Demand for places has been strong, so if you have not yet signed up for the Dinner don’t delay as the remaining places are selling out fast. Remember too that as an MTA member one free place is offered with every booking.
This year sees the biennial MACH, which will be held from 7-11 April at the NEC. There is an Exhibitor’s Training Day scheduled for the 18 February at the NEC. The aim of the Day is to familiarise exhibitors with the services available at MACH, tips on marketing, making the most of your stand presence and business opportunities at the event. Details of how to apply are in the Friday Brief.
Have a good weekend.
