UKTI is hosting a trade mission for advanced engineering companies to Central Europe to coincide with the Hungarian Grand Prix, 21-24 July.
With UK engineering so heavily involved in Formula 1 the event is an obvious place to showcase what we have to offer to what is the fastest growing part of Europe. Based in Budapest the event will target participants from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria and Romania as well as Hungary.
Automotive and Aerospace are key sectors in the region and the mission is aimed at companies operating in those supply chains, including companies at tiers 3 and 4. In particular they are keen to include those with expertise in Rapid Prototyping, Composite Manufacture and Engineering Services.
The event will involve a workshop in the centre of Budapest at which UK firms will be introduced to the market and to their sectors – giving an over-view of the opportunity here. UKTI will then arrange bespoke introductions to local companies we believe are potential buyers or partners. The mission will include F1 themed networking and opportunities to make valuable informal contacts hosted by HM Ambassador.
The event is still in the planning stage so getting involved early will enable you to help shape the programme and the target list.
Companies interested in getting involved should contact James Fudge at the MTA on 020 7298 6408 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
