Event Highlights at EMTE-EASTPO 2014 Released

The first EMTE-EASTPO 2014 came to a successful close on 17 July, attracting a visitorship of 47,654. Local visitors from 32 cities made up majority of the participants. The biggest group of domestic visitors were from south-eastern China namely, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang. Buyers from India, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia made up the majority of international visitors.

The exhibition also welcomed delegations from Ludhiana Machine Tool Manufacturers Association and visiting groups from: Philippine Die and Mold Association, Metalworking Industries Association of the Philippines and Metals Industries Research Development Centre. In addition, visiting delegations from the Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Anhui Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical Engineering, JiaXing Mould Trade Association and the Shanghai Instrument Industry Association also visited EMTE-EASTPO 2014.

Some 100 participants and experts shared and exchanged ideas on the theme, 'Profitable Growth through State-of-the-Art Manufacturing' at the EMTE-EASTPO CEO Summit.

A technical visit to the Lingang Manufacturing Base was organised on 18 July.

EMTE-EASTPO 2014 was complemented by a series of interactive seminars and workshops.
