MACH 2014 Seminar programme launch

The MACH 2014 Seminar Programme has been launched this week. The schedule of engaging seminars covers the five days of the MACH 2014 Exhibition and has attracted some of manufacturing sector’s leading speakers.
The seminars will take place in a specially constructed theatre located within the UK Manufacturing Zone. The programme will kick-off on Monday 7 April with an overview of safeguarding skills in the manufacturing sector from Alan Cook CBE, Chairman of Talent Retention Solutions. He will be followed by an inspiring presentation from Richard Noble OBE, Project Director of the Bloodhound Supersonic Car project.
The morning session on Tuesday 8 April is presented in association with TCT magazine and will focus on 3D printing and additive manufacturing. The afternoon will feature presentations from Chris Wilson, Managing Director of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty and Colin Sirett, Head of R&T, Airbus on the prospects for growth in the civil aerospace sector.
Manufacturing challenges will be taken up the following day by a presentation from Dr. Mike Percival of Rolls-Royce. Later in the week there will be further seminars on manufacturing supply chain developments.
There will also be presentations from Jacqueline Keogh, Director of Trade Transaction Banking at Lloyds Bank discussing Exporting and Emerging Markets. Trevor Williams, Chief Economist at Lloyds Bank, will give an assessment of economic prospects.
