Young Engineer of the Year
Apprenticeships play a vital role in the development of the industry and every year the MTA recognises a young engineer with the potential to make a real contribution not only to their company but also to the industry as a whole.
The Best Supplier Partnership
This category celebrates successful relationships between a customer and supplier. This can include manufacturer and subcontractor relationships and suppliers into sub-contractors companies; essentially any business partnership that has delivered excellence in innovation, sustainability, value or delivery.
The Best Training Scheme
This award identifies those training programmes that are both innovative and deliver results. Training programmes can show clear development of both the youngest or newest entrants into the industry, as well as long-standing staff.
The AMTRI Scholarship
This scholarship is supported by a trust fund created by AMTRI and administered by the MTA. The winner can use the AMTRI Scholarship to drive his or her continuous professional development programme, pursue postgraduate study or to enhance an education led project.
The awards will be presented at the MTA’s Annual Dinner of 12 March 2015 at the ICC, Birmingham.
