MTA Associate Member Citation has produced a free guide for MTA members on how to managing employees with COVID symptoms or who’ve tested positive.

Each business has dealt with the Covid 19 outbreak differently. As we start to come out of the period of the most intense challenges, new issues are presenting themselves in the workforce. The MTA’s employment advice partner Croner has is constantly updating its advice and now has some useful information on the ending of the furlough scheme.

UK Productivity, 1st Quarter 2020:  The analysis of UK productivity published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed output per hour (the headline measure of productivity) for the whole economy was -0.6% lower than in the same quarter in 2019 with output per worker falling by -3.1%.  This divergence reflects the impact of furlough schemes at the end of the quarter - staff on furlough are counted as a “worker” but, of course, they worked no hours so that measure ha

The MTA are delighted to announce that the Annual Dinner in 2021 will take place on Tuesday 26th January during the week of MACH.  The event will be held at the VOX, on the NEC site, and will run straight after the exhibition.

This will be a great chance to celebrate our industry as well as an opportunity to entertain customers in a week where UK manufacturing and engineering achievements will be showcased.
