CGTech has unveiled a bespoke software package which can replicate the cutting conditions that would be achieved in real-world applications.
The software has been developed to support the extended us of CGTech’s physics-based VERICUT FORCE optimisation module and was revealed at the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC).
CGTech will be demonstrating the highlights of its new VERICUT version 9 during EMO 2019 in Hall 9, stand B04. VERICUT is the industry standard for CNC machining simulation to detect errors, potential collisions or areas inefficiencies. It works independently, but can also be integrated into leading CAM systems.
While digital twinning is a relatively new phenomenon, one of the early adopters of the physical ‘twin’ concept was NASA, where a full-scale mock-up of the early space capsules were used on the ground to mirror and diagnose problems in orbit. The physical eventually gave way to fully digital simulations. The digital twin provides a representation of a physical object or system.
Seiki Systems has launched the next generation browser-based version of its established manufacturing operations management software, Seiki AIR.
Faster, easier and lighter, the software builds on the success of previous versions, delivering users actionable insights into their manufacturing activity and performance.
On September 18th, we’re running a free workshop for MTA members. The workshop looks at how inbound marketing is fast becoming a key tool for generating new business opportunities.
Telford based Filtermist International Ltd will be showcasing just how much the company has changed since it was first established in 1969 at an Open House being held on Friday 13th September.
Birmingham-based volume parts manufacturer, Falcon Engineering Productions Limited, has invested in a MecWash Solo 400 aqueous parts washing machine following several recommendations from Machine Tool Manufacturers.
The introduction of new interfaces for Autodesk’s PowerShape, PowerMill and PowerInspect manufacturing software proved very timely for Eccles Tooling Systems as it coincided with a significant transition in the company’s staff.
This year, along with a series of exciting new software developments associated with our complete and highly automated CAD/CAM/MES systems, Tebis will also be presenting customised manufacturing processess at the EMO (Hall 9, Stand D15, 16-21 September in Hanover, Germany).
The technology topics that will be presented at EMO include the following:
One of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced plumbing, heating and engineering products is continuing to invest in what it considers to be the best aqueous component cleaning system – more than 25 years after it commissioned its first one.
The Pegler Group, based at Doncaster in South Yorkshire, distributes its range of plumbing fittings to more than 110 countries worldwide.
