If you have been a full or contract manufacturing member of the MTA for at least one year, and your company has an annual turnover of £10million or less, you should be eligible to apply for one of our grants or loans. The grants and loans that are offered are as follows:
- An Apprenticeship Grant of up to £4,000 to help you take on an apprentice within manufacturing or engineering.
- An interest free Apprenticeship Loan of £10,000 to help you take on an apprentice. This is repayable over a 12-month period.
- A Training Grants of up to £750 to support Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and upskill your workforce. This cannot be used for any mandatory compliance training.
- The training grant can be used in conjunction with offers from our training partners.
The application form along with the grants and loans terms and conditions, as agreed by the MTA Education & Development Committee, is available here. The terms and conditions are indicative and for guidance purposes for applicants. In any instances where the terms and conditions are open to interpretation, then the MTA Education & Development Committee will have the final say.
