BEIS asks you about UKCA mark Campaign

Please can you spare 7-10 minutes to take part in a short survey?

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is carrying out research into upcoming changes to regulations that will affect some manufacturing businesses.
Results will help BEIS to understand how government can effectively support businesses to adapt to the changing requirements.

Someone in your organisation who is aware ,or in control, of determining whether your products meet UK regulatory requirements, would be most appropriate in answering the survey. It would be greatly appreciated if you could forward this email on to that person, if this isn’t you.

Your answers will be anonymous and will not be used for compliance purposes. BEIS will not be able to attribute responses to any individual or company, and data will be reported in the form of aggregated findings.

The survey can be found here:

Please fill it in by 9am Monday 5th July 2021.

The business department, BEIS, is stepping up an awareness and advice campaign about the implementation of UKCA mark rules covering the placing of goods on the market that would previously have been covered by the EU’s CE mark.  In broad terms, most CE-marked goods will need to have the UKCA mark to be sold in Great Britain from the end of this year.

BEIS is running webinars for businesses and trade associations on the subject - including Northern Ireland aspects - on 24th June and 20th July
