The Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE) Annual Lecture 2020 will be given by the new Chief Executive of UK Research & Innovation (UKRI), Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser, on the research and innovation system: fuelling an inclusive knowledge economy. The lecture will take place on Thursday 5th November and due to Covid-19, this year's lecture will take place online - guests will be welcomed from 3.30pm with the event commencing promptly at 4pm.
At the lecture Professor Leyser will discuss the future direction of the relationship between science and society. We look forward to Professor Leyser’s insight into how science, research and innovation can contribute to the Government's R&D agenda, and how the UK’s research and innovation system could be better positioned to fuel a more inclusive society and economy.
