The latest edition of the CECIMO Toolbox was also published just before Christmas – the date refers to the fact that it mainly reflects data and information covering the 3rd quarter of 2023. The Toolbox document groups information into 6 categories covering historical data for the sector, demand, investment, the business climate, general economic indicators and information on related sectors.
The highlights of this report include:
- CECIMO8 (the largest machine tool producing nations in the area) total orders continues to show a downward trend;
- Despite a slight recovery in recent months, European business sentiment indicators remain in negative territory;
- CECIMO MT Production to reach about 26.6 billion EUR in 2023;
- CECIMO MT Production and Consumption to remain stable in 2024.

Many of the charts are interactive and you can download the data in various forms.
