The Commons’ Business and Trade Committee has published written submissions to its Exports-led Growth inquiry, including the submission from the Engineering and Machinery Alliance (EAMA).

EAMA says that advanced engineering and manufacturing have great potential for improving productivity, growth and export performance.  Brexit has put the UK at a structural disadvantage in manufacturing and distribution to Europe and a programme is needed to compensate for that.

We welcome comment and evidence related to this important inquiry, which will be treated in confidence.  Please send this to Jack Semple at EAMA (email:  [email protected]) with a copy to Geoff Noon at MTA (email: [email protected]).
