Jack Semple, Secretary of EAMA has picked up a concern about delays being caused by Customs stops by HMRC, in particular route 1 stops for document checks on shipments to China.
If any members have experienced an increase in customs checks recently – not just to China and/or also for imports – he would welcome feedback in confidence on this issue, ahead of possible discussion with government.
