The MTA have been awarded the Mark of Excellence at the Association Excellence Awards for their work on MACH 2016. The awards took place in London on Friday 31st March 2017 and celebrated excellence in professional and trade associations.
MACH 2016 was entered into the Association Excellence Awards in the category of Best Large Association Event attended by over 1,500 people and just missed the top prize.
However, MACH 2016 was honoured with the Mark of Excellence in that category. The judging panel explained why MACH 2016 was also recognised at the awards, saying “MACH is a well-established event that clearly delivers to its market and has evolved throughout the years. Given the size of the event and its success, it is remarkable that the organising team are so small. The event has become its own legacy.
“Impressive throughout - looking at the hall plans, there's no doubt the hard work and multi-faceted strategies that went into the planning and execution. Conversion figures speak for themselves.”
James Fudge Head of Events at the MTA who organise MACH on behalf of the advanced engineering sector commented on the awards by saying “This award is real testament to the hard work that goes into making MACH the UK’s largest Industrial showcase. It is a real privilege to be recognised by the Association Excellence Awards and we will continue to strive to ensure MACH 2018 maintains the high standards we’ve set for ourselves.”
