Remembrance Day is approaching and as a part of the MTA’s commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and our support for the Service community we would like to share with all our members the Guide to Remembrance created by the Mission Community Team.
This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the end of WWII is therefore a particularly significant year for all Service personnel, families, reservist, cadets and veterans. But the day also commemorates those who served in more recent conflicts and who may still be in employment and a part of your workforce.
The Guide highlights practical ways organisations and employees can get involved — from supporting local Royal British Legion activities to observing the Two Minute Silence, to sharing messages of remembrance online.
