Last week the MTA, like many of its members attended the AMB exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany. The show ran for five days and attracted over 90,000 visitors with nearly 20% of those visitors coming from outside of Germany. There was good British representation throughout the show from visitors and exhibiting companies.

The exhibition was completely sold out, with all 10 Halls at Messe Stuttgart packed to bursting with all the latest manufacturing technology.  There were 1553 exhibitors over 120,000 sq ft of exhibition space taken and a waiting list for exhibitors who wanted to get on the floor plans.

With this in mind the MTA had offered space on our stand to help SME members of the association to exhibit at the show. Wogaard shared the MTA stand to give them a presence at the exhibition and to help raise their profile throughout the week.

Tom Lane, PR and Communications Manager at the MTA said, “AMB is undoubtably one of the most important shows in the European exhibition calendar. Throughout the exhibition large numbers of visitors were flowing through the Halls and business was being done. It was great to be available to support our members exhibiting there.”

The next edition of AMB takes place between 15th–19th September 2020, AMB will be celebrating a "zero" anniversary with its 20th trade fair. Due to the show being sold out this year, the MTA are exploring options to host a UK pavilion at the 2020 edition of the show, if you would be interested in participating in this please contact the MTA’s Head of Events James Fudge for more details ay
