MTA CEO speaks at Internet of Manufacturing UK conference

This week MTA CEO James Selka DL joined a panel discussion on Factories of the future: Transforming Manufacturing with industry 4.0 at the UK edition of the Internet of Manufacturing conference. The two-day conference took place at Farnborough exhibition and conference centre and saw a fantastic line up of speaker over the two days. 

The panel was chaired by Jim Davison, Regional Director, South of England, Make UK and also featured Deborah Sherry, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, GE Digital in Europe and Richard Allbert Head of Digital Innovation, Pirelli.

Internet of Manufacturing UK 2019 took an in-depth look at how manufacturers can look to lower costs, drive profitability and accelerate digital transformation. The MTA CEO also delivered a seminar session on why UK Manufacturing is so vital to our economy, the technology that is changing the way we manufacture, how SME's can adapt to Industry 4.0 technology once process at a time and how industry and academia are working together to solve our productivity problems.

James said of the event, “It was a great opportunity to highlight how our membership are shaping the way we will manufacture in the future. The event provided two days of high quality content with plenty for speakers and guests to think about.”
