The MTA Forecast Seminar is moving on-line this year. Given the current circumstances, it is even more important that you get an up to date view of the economic prospects for the global economy and the industrial sectors to which your customers belong.
We will be holding a live webinar on Tuesday 20th October, from 1000 to 1200 - it will be hosted on Teams but is accessible to view through a web-browser. The sessions will be a little shorter than at our usual event to fit this format, but there will still be the opportunity for live questioning of the speakers.
The three sessions will be:
- Macro-Economic Overview by Andy Goodwin (Oxford Economics): Andy has spoken at our Spring update events in recent years and while his main focus will be the UK economy, we won’t ignore the rest of the world.
- Industry Outlook by Jeremy Leonard (Oxford Economics): Jeremy will review the industrial detail with a specific focus on the key customer industries for the manufacturing technology sector.
- Forecasts for the Manufacturing Technology Industry by Geoff Noon (MTA): Geoff will bring this together and, in taking delegates through the forecasts for machine tools and cutting tools (the latter UK only) illustrate how all members, regardless of your product or service, can make use of these forecasts in your business.
The MTA Forecasting Service represents a significant investment by the Association, so there will be a small charge to attend the live webinar when it is broadcast. As usual, the various documents and presentations will be made available for all MTA members to access after the webinar broadcast.
You can register for the webinar via the MTA web-site at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mta-forecast-seminar-2020-tickets-123490771221 - we look forward to seeing you!
