Wednesday 22 May saw the MTA’s first open access Technical Days at the Jaguar Visitor Centre in Castle Bromwich. MTA Members were given the opportunity to connect with companies in the Additive and Digital Manufacturing industry.
The day was a great success, with people reporting they made new contacts, and provided a platform for the MTA and its members to promote the work they are doing in the Additive and Digital manufacturing space. The MTA Additive and Digital booklet was also launched at the event with over 50 copies snatched up by guests. You can download a soft copy below.
Presentations from Matthew Fielder (Harris RCS), Magnus McFarlene (the MTC) and Simon Jones (HiETA) gave attendees valuable insights into the benefits of additive and digital manufacturing technologies.
The day concluded with VIP tours of the Jaguar production facility, a highlight for many, providing a unique opportunity to experience the pioneering craftsmanship and logistics that go into building award-winning cars.
