The ”SMEs Instrument” grants are a European Union scheme to provide substantial funding to support SMEs in the last stages of development and supports high-risk, high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises to develop and bring to market new products, services and business models that could drive economic growth.  The SME Instrument is for innovators with ground-breaking concepts that could shape new markets or disrupt existing ones in Europe and worldwide, especially in the framework of the Industry 4.0 revolution, and the uptake of advanced manufacturing technologies and systems.

This scheme comes to an end (for applications) on 1st December 2020 and UK companies are still eligible to apply for funding from the scheme during the transition period.
