Industry trade associations have been pressing the government over concerns about legal requirements for UKCA marking for spare parts, including concerns over availability after the deadline for introduction, January 1 2023. This has gone on over an extended period.

The business department (BEIS) has now asked us to send members a survey on the issue. It would be best completed by someone who knows your company’s position regarding meeting UKCA requirements.

BEIS says that the responses will be aggregated and that it will not be able to attribute responses to individuals or companies.

The survey is here: https://forms.office.com/r/8xABSSespD and should be completed by 9am on Thursday, 3rd February. Please let us know if you do complete the survey, and your main points. Your feedback will be treated in confidence, as always, and will help to strengthen our engagement with BEIS.
