You are invited to attend a webinar on saving energy and cost in the use of air compressors.
The webinar is being held by the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) and the British Turned Parts Manufacturers Association (BTMA), which represents turned parts sub-contractors and had a lively discussion on the cost of energy for compressors at its recent annual general meeting.
Both BCAS and BTMA are members of the Engineering and Machinery Alliance (EAMA) and they have kindly opened the event to other members of EAMA.
BCAS has been running a campaign, Taskforce10, aimed at reducing energy and CO2 used to power air compressors through improved whole-system specification, use and maintenance. Compressed air accounts for 10% of all industrial electricity in the UK.
