Your products, services and capabilities could create great opportunities in aerospace and adjacent advanced engineering or manufacturing markets. If you are an SME in the Midlands looking to innovate, enhance productivity, diversify or grow in aerospace or beyond, help is on hand.

The Aerospace Unlocking Potential programme is being delivered by the University of Nottingham in partnership with the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, and is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. We have a team of highly-experienced technology managers who are ready to speak with you in confidence to help you explore your potential.

If your company is eligible, they will design the best package of support and funding for your goals (grants of £1,000 to £100,000 are available).

Aerospace Unlocking Potential Grants are already helping companies across the Midlands improve their manufacturing capabilities. Examples include Boneham and Turner who have introduced a new high accuracy measurement process, Swiftool Precision Engineering who are introducing a new welding facility and Therser UK who are developing a new thermal system process to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Our experts are assisting companies to kick-start their digitisation journey, to develop their own environmental sustainability agendas and new technology road maps, as well as, supporting them on how to enter new sectors, such as Advanced Air Mobility.
