About the Dinner
Just over two months before MACH 2016, the event offers a great chance to entertain customers and network with others from the industry.

The biggest annual event of its type, each year it sees hundreds of senior people in engineering based manufacturing come together to celebrate the success of the industry in a friendly, convivial, environment. The event will be held at the Vox, a brand new venue which opens as part of Resort World at the NEC in Birmingham.

Whether you're entertaining customers, clients or colleagues, with guests from Britain’s leading manufacturers as well as suppliers to the sector there is always someone new to meet.

Speakers and Entertainment
The evening will be hosted by former England Rugby legend, Martin Bayfield. After making his England debut in 1991, Martin became a stalwart performer for his national side, being part of the 1992 Five Nations as well as the 1993 British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand. Forming part of the 1994 Rugby World Cup squad, Bayfield would partner Martin Johnson 18 times for his country and were often seen as the greatest forward pairing of the time.

There will also be the opportunity to bid on some great prizes as part of our silent auction.

The event will be rounded off by award-winning comedian Rob Beckett. Rob boasts victories at the Amused Moose Laugh-Off competition and a runner-up trophy in So You Think You’re Funny 2009. His first Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, “Rob Beckett’s Summer Holiday”, garnered critical acclaim and he has since performed around the UK on his own solo tour. Mark has made numerous appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has appeared on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Have I Got News for You, as well as being a regular on Mock the Week.
