SolidCAM UK is preparing to welcome manufacturers to its 2026 Open House on 19 February, an event designed to highlight how intelligent CAM strategies and high‑performance tooling can deliver significant gains in machining efficiency. The event will take place at CERATIZIT UK & Ireland’s Technology Centre based in Catcliffe, Rotherham, which will act as host venue for the day.
The Open House will centre on live demonstrations showing how SolidCAM’s powerful toolpath technology performs when paired with CERATIZIT’s expert cutting‑tool solutions. Machines including a Mazak Integrex I250H, an XYZ 800 HD, and an XYZ UMC 5X will run throughout the event, giving attendees the opportunity to see the combined capability of the software and tooling in realistic machining scenarios.

A major focus will be the practical benefits of SolidCAM’s patented iMachining technology, known for reducing cycle times and extending tool life when used with the right cutting tools. Additional demonstrations will include Simultaneous 5‑axis machining and SolidCAM’s HSR/HSM roughing and finishing strategies, aimed at showcasing how software intelligence and tooling engineering complement each other.
