An update on AMUK has been sent out today with regards to the ongoings of the association. There is lots currently going on and coming up so make sure to check out all the details.
First off, we have some regional meetings planned for February this year. These meetings will focus on two areas – firstly on giving you an update on the services we are offering and more information on how to access them – and secondly, we are starting to look ahead to what we need to accomplish as an organisation to help collectively push AM technology forward in the UK. Therefore, we will be looking to collect members views on where AMUK should be looking to focus to benefit the whole industry at these meetings. A complete list of locations and dates for these meetings are below:
Date: 8th February 2023
Host: Marks & Clerk
Date: 9th February 2023
Host: Carpenter Additive
Date: 15th February 2023
Date: 16th February 2023
Please book on asap as places are limited for these events. I look forward to seeing you there.
AMUK MEMBERS FORUM
Next up we have the next AMUK Members Forum. It’s going to be held on the 8th March 2023 at Renishaw, New Mills. There will be presentations on Market Trends, The Global Technology Outlook, Government Funding Opportunities as well as member pitches again. This is a free event for AMUK members only. For Formnext 2023, we are looking to see if there is any interest in AMUK organising a pavilion. If your company would be interested in participating as part of an AMUK pavilion, please let me know by the end of the January 2023 – this doesn’t commit you to anything just yet, it is just an expression of interest at this stage to see if this is something of interest to the UK Additive community.
If there is adequate interest, we will look to firm out who can commit during February 2023, with the intention of getting a provisional booking for floorspace in before the 28th February, so that we can take advantage of the 17% early bird discount rate.
