Proposal: ISO/NP 26264-1 – Humanoid robot datasets — Part 1: General requirements
Comment period end date:03/12/2025
Scope
This document defines a framework for managing humanoid robot datasets throughout their life cycle, from planning to decommissioning, including requirements for quality, security, and privacy. It applies to organizations and individuals involved in creating or managing datasets used to train, validate, and test AI models for humanoid robots across industrial, service, and medical applications.
Purpose
With the rapid growth of humanoid robotics, high-quality datasets are essential for AI model performance. However, current datasets are often inconsistent and lack interoperability. This standard provides a global framework to guide dataset creation and management, ensuring consistency, quality, and reliability. It supports collaboration, reduces duplication of effort, and enhances innovation, safety, and trust in humanoid robot applications.
