Comment period end date:02/09/2025
This standard defines safety requirements for industrial mobile robots (IMRs) operating in industrial environments (no public access). It focuses on ground-traveling robots and is the first in a series; Part 2 will cover application integration.
Not Covered:
- Industrial trucks, remote-controlled or guided machines
- Wearables, vehicles (road, air, sea, etc.)
- Agricultural, mining, or floor-cleaning robots
- Non-industrial use (e.g., consumer, medical, military)
- Hazards from extreme, explosive, or nuclear environments
Purpose:
Current standards don’t fully address the mobility and integration risks of IMRs. This new standard fills that gap, ensuring clear, consistent safety guidance for design and integration.

Comment period end date:23/08/2025
Scope
This international standard specifies general requirements for establishing muscular strength database and their associated reports that contain measurements taken in accordance with ISO/AWI 25033-1[1].
It provides necessary information, such as characteristics of the user population, sampling methods, measurement items and statistics, to make international comparison possible among various population segments.
