A reminder that ECTA – the European Cutting Tool Association – is holding its annual conference in San Sebastian (Spain) on Friday 26th May with an associated programme running from Thursday to Saturday. Although ECTA represents manufacturers of cutting tools, the conference is open to all companies in and associated with this part of our industry.
The conference will have sessions focused on both economic and technical topics and includes presentations on recycling of materials and cyber security in a manufacturing environment.

Also, a diary date for those in this part of the manufacturing technology sector; next year will see the World Cutting Tool Conference being held in Japan from 21st to 24th May 2024 (as a result there won’t be a separate European conference then).
