The Department for International Trade (DIT) have launched a new awards scheme recognising UK SMEs trading internationally in seven sectors including manufacturing.

The awards will be judged by senior officials at DIT and the Institute of Export & International Trade’s (IOET) director general Marco Forgione.

Exports Minister Andrew Bowie said “We are proud of our great British exporters, and this was an excellent way of celebrating businesses in international markets.”

Marco Forgione agreed and said that he hoped that the award winner will prove to be an inspiration to British companies who could, but don’t yet export. Businesses that sell internationally have been found time and time again to be more productive, sustainable and efficient.”

The awards are free to enter and can be found on Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards (great.gov.uk)

The deadline is Thursday 23rd February 2023. Winners will be announced mid-April 2023.
