The new release focuses on your manufacturing performance and the key figure: 24/7 If possible, machines should operate uninterruptedly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This overall objective can only be achieved with CAM programming that’s even faster than manufacturing because programming offices are generally only staffed for eight hours a day and five days a week. High software performance is just as important as CAD/CAM automation, as is the ability to move computationally intensive processes to the background.
Tebis placed the main focus on improving the software’s performance in Tebis 4.1 Release 4: This includes NC calculation, complete machine simulation, interactive activities like loading the machine, adjusting setups, working with process libraries, CAD triangulation and much more. Tebis parallelised processes, optimised access, removed redundancies and eliminated extra and obsolete program code.
