As you will hopefully be aware we launched new websites for our cluster earlier this year, including the MTA. This is an ideal opportunity to make sure that your information is accurate and up to date with your business and so we have only migrated key information across. Therefore, we kindly ask you log on to the site, review the details to ensure they are correct and add any other information you want. Please go to the story to check how to reset your password.

We have a mix of economic news this week.  The latest results from the CBI Industrial Trends Survey gives both the latest picture for the manufacturing sector as well as providing an update on the investment intentions and capacity utilisation data that was part of our presentations at the Forecast Seminar last week.  The other main story this week are the flash estimates of the PMI for the manufacturing sector in October; although most of the limited number of countries saw an improvement, most remain firmly in negative territory, including the UK and Europe – the USA just managed to reach the neutral reading of 50.  Our last item looks at the revised figures for UK productivity.  You can find all of these in the economic news article this week.

That concludes the Friday Brief for today! We all hope you have lovely weekends, and we look forward to ‘seeing’ you again next week!
